As you probably already know, Make & Craft is one of my favourite craft magazines and I wanted to let you know about my 'Steampunk Skull' tutorial featured in thelatest issue!
Skull before the steampunk makeover
I chose a scary looking skull from The Craft Barn and teamed this up with some shiny paints and basic materials I had lying around in the house (screws, washers etc). The project was so much fun to do and I loved the way the skull turned out. I think my favourite part is the telescopic eye and the eyeglass :-)
The tutorial is part of the Halloween/Steampunk issue and I think this is my favourite issue yet! What could be better than spooktacular themed crafting projects mixed in with some Victorian/futuristically styled steampunk tutorials!
Make and craft projects for Issue 12 include Victorian/steampunk jewellery and accessories (including a scarf and a top hat), Halloween bags, decorations, treats and accessories and if you love owls or cats you'll not want to miss the owl brooches/cushions and cute cat projects! There's also the usual features including crafty must haves, crafting ideas, giveaways and much more!
You can see page contents in the photo above and there's also a 10 page sample for this issue here.
