Folksy Friday ~ You Give Me Butterflies

'Butterflies'

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.

Dress Forms with Butterfly Wings
Collage Sheet by Rowan Tree Design

One of nature's most beautiful creatures, who undergo a dramatic transformation that sets them apart from most other insects. The complete metamorphosis sees the butterfly through a life cycle full of challenges and obstacles before finally becoming all that nature intended!  This may be why butterflies are often seen as the symbol of change, transformation and hope!

I now present to you some of my favourite handmade 'butterfly' finds from Folksy!
